Running Challenges and Rounds

Any running challenge or round that we deem may be of interest / ‘running worthy’ to any avid runner will appear here. If you have any running challenge or round recommendations, please feel free to use the form at the bottom of the page to send them to us.

A running challenge or round is defined by this website as a ‘challenge’ that does not have a specific date and time such as those organised by Running Event Companies (so they won’t appear on our main events page) but is more of a personal challenge that you do at a time of your own choosing.

Even though you can usually do these challenges at a time of your choosing, many challenges still have rules or time constraints for you to be officially deemed as having completed the challenge of which a well known example is The Bob Graham Round.  Whilst anyone can take on the The Bob Graham Round route and do it at their own pace, in order to be entered into the The Bob Graham 24 Hour Club you have to travel approx 66 miles, traverse 42 peaks, climbing 27,000ft of elevation in 24 hours or under.  No mean feat at all!

There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky, and you ask, "What if I fall?" Oh but my darling, what if you fly?
